It has been an honor to travel with student to the UAE five times, with connections to Women As Global Leaders and with Insight Dubai.

Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

The following are photos from a trip with graduate students from BSU to Jordan. The visit focused on research tied to forced immigration due to war and global unrest.

Al Huson Camp

The leadership of this camp were focused largely on education and economic well being for Palestinian refugees in Jordan. The camp is relatively permanent after some Palestinian families have been refugees for nearly eighty years.

Al Za’atari Syrian Refugee Camp 2014

Al Za’atari camp is a refugee camp for Syrian’s who have been displaced after war. The camp is located within walking distance of Syria and refugees place many dangers getting to the camp and within the camp.

Basel, Switzerland

Basel is one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland and is a great place for sustainability and art. Art Basel is the annual art event held there. It has many amazing public art spaces.

Glasgow, Scotland

Glasgow is another city with a sustainability and art focus. What’s not to love.
